Wild Mushrooms: From Forage to Feast with Bertrand Marchal & John Sir Jesse


Monday, August 15 | 10am-2pm forage & 5-8pm feast | $170 + $25 ingredients A guided wild mushroom foray culminating in a delicious dinner in a private home. Join local wild mushroom expert John Sir Jesse and French chef Bertrand Marchal for a day of discovery, delicacy and delight. Spend the morning on a guided foray into Telluride’s high country to learn about and gather a variety of edible local fungi. Then reconvene in the evening to transform the day’s harvest into a delicious dinner while learning the nuances of cooking wild mushrooms – whether the beloved chanterelle, the nutty King Bolete or the subtle Shaggy Mane.
