The Doo Wop Project

The Sheridan Arts Foundation presents the Doo Wop Project live at the Sheridan Opera House on Dec. 28 during the 2016 Holiday Concert Series. The Doo Wop Project is street corner singing for a whole new generation. DWP takes you on a journey from foundational tunes of groups like the Crests, Belmonts and Flamingos through their influences on the sounds of Smokey Robinson, the Temptations, and the Four Seasons...all the way to Michael Jackson, Jason Mraz and Amy Winehouse. Featuring current and former stars of Broadway’s smash hits Jersey Boys, including Telluride's own Nathan Scherich, and Motown: The Musical, and their hot band, The Doo Wop Project brings unparalleled authenticity of sound and vocal excellence to recreate — and in some cases entirely re-imagine — some of the greatest music in American pop and rock history. Tickets are $35-$45 reserved seats. The show begins at 8 p.m. (bar opens at 7 p.m.)
