Rising Appalachia live in concert
The Sheridan Arts Foundations presents Rising Appalachia live in concert for two nights at the historic Sheridan Opera House on Friday, September 20 and Saturday, September 21 at 9 PM. Founded by sisters Leah and Chloe Smith, Rising Appalachia have merged multiple global music influences with the sisters' own southern roots to create the inviting new folk album, Leylines, released in May 2019. Although Leah and Chloe Smith consider their voices as their primary instrument, Leah also plays banjo and bodhran while Chloe plays guitar, fiddle, and banjo; David Brown (stand-up bass, baritone guitar) and Biko Casini (world percussion) make up the rest of the band. Tickets are $25 GA standing room on the floor and $35 reserved seats in the balcony. A $5 fee applies at all sales outlets. ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL.
