Ben Jacobsen is a father, husband, skier, sailor and photographer, just about in that order! He’s been interested in photography ever since he was a little kid. His interest developed in high school when he took his first course. From there he went on to get a degree in photography just to get access to the darkroom! Ben has been shooting what he loves doing the entire time. He’s constantly outside, making landscape and travel photography his primary subjects. He loves getting out in the mornings before the sun is up, finding an amazing location and watching Mother Nature put on her best show. Exploring new places and sharing them is why he does this. For Ben, landscape photography is about capturing the right light in the right location.
