Ceramics Wheel & Glazing 2.0! with Gin Eborn

Whether you’re interested in trying out the potter’s wheel or you simply need a refresher, this class gives beginning and experienced ceramicists some valuable time in the clay studio. Class will be held from 6 – 9pm each Monday evening for a month, with each Monday lesson covering a different aspect of wheel throwing. During the first two Wednesdays of class, students will have additional trouble-shooting time with the instructor, and on Tuesdays, Thursdays and the last two Wednesdays of the session, students will have optional uninstructed open studio time in the ceramics studio, all from 6 – 9pm. WEEK ONE: Monday 1/7: Class 1 – Throwing on the Wheel (A) Tuesday 1/8: Trouble-Shooting Instructed Studio Time Wednesday 1/9: Optional Open Studio Thursday 1/10: Optional Open Studio WEEK TWO: Monday 1/14: Class 2 – Trimming Your Work Tuesday 1/15: Optional Open Studio Wednesday 1/16: Trouble-Shooting Instructed Studio Time Thursday 1/17: Optional Open Studio WEEK THREE: Monday 1/21 : Class 3 – Throwing on the Wheel (B) Tuesday 1/22: Optional Open Studio Wednesday 1/23: Optional Open Studio Thursday 1/24: Optional Open Studio WEEK FOUR: Monday 1/28: Class 4 – Glazing Tuesday 1/29: Optional Open Studio Wednesday 1/30: Optional Open Studio Thursday 1/31: Optional Open Studio Students are required to attend every Monday evening class, but can choose to attend all other evenings as desired. This is a great way to become comfortable with wheel throwing and to get to know the Ah Haa Ceramics Studio!*
