Weekend Revival Workshop~ Pawamuktasana, Pranayama & Yoga Nidra

Pawamuktasana is a gentle, all-levels series of movements designed by Swami Satyananda to release stagnation and promote flexibility and suppleness in the joints. Pranayama breathing techniques create "yogic fire" to awaken your own vital life force. Yoga Nidra (Conscious Sleep) is a process by which you will physiologically and psychologically sink into a state of relaxed awareness. The practice uniquely unwinds the nervous system, which is the foundation of the body’s well being. Rebecca Mayer, owner of ASHA Yoga Therapies, is a 500-Hr Advanced Integral Yoga Teacher. She has studied Mysore Ashtanga, Anusara and Hot Yoga, as well as Ayurvedic Medicine, Thai Yoga Massage, Reiki and Shamanic healing traditions of South America. From her travels throughout India, and her experience as a yoga and meditation instructor in the US, New Zealand and Cambodia, Rebecca offers a fresh perspective which allows the ancient and esoteric to become modern and real.
