Feasts of Spring with Dr. Susanna Hoffman: Lenten Foods!

Join Dr. Susanna Hoffman for another night of free food demonstrations, folklore and samplings in our new series Feasts of Spring. On Thursday, Feb. 23rd she will be talking about Lenten Foods. Like always, she has planned a elegant menu that includes yellow peas porridge, meade, sesame soup, leeks lenten style, walnut syrup cake, and hot cross buns. The night will begin with the food demonstrations as Dr. Hoffman talks about the origins and history behind her feast and it will end with a free food sampling of all the dishes that were prepared.
