Black Bear Awareness Week 2012 Schedule of Activities   Brought to you by Telluride’s Ecology Commission   Friday, September 7 1100 AM - 4 PM  - Stop by our booth at the Farmer’s Market on Oak Street.  Get free stuff, questions answered, & useful tips about living in Bear Country!                                      Monday, September 10 11 – 11:30 AM    - BEAR STORIES & coloring books at Wilkinson Public Library Children’s Area 4:10 PM            - Tune in to KOTO ACCESS to learn about Telluride’s work to manage people & bears.  Call in to ask questions. 6 – 8 PM            - BEERS & BEARS at The Steaming Bean – Bear Trivia & a presentation by black bear researcher Heather Johnson, Colorado Parks & Wildlife.   Tuesday, September 11 11 – 11:30 AM    - BEAR STORIES & coloring books at Wilkinson Public Library Children’s Area   Wednesday, September 12 10 AM               - Tune in to KOTO for the Moser Exposure for more talk about the bear necessities 11 – 11:30 AM    - BEAR STORIES and coloring books at Wilkinson Public Library Children’s Area 3-4 PM              - Black Bear Puppet Show – All ages welcome, Wilkinson Public Library Program Room   Thursday, September 13 11 – 12 NOON    - Black Bear Puppet Show – All ages & classes welcome, Wilkinson Public Library Program Room   Friday, September 14 1100 AM - 4 PM  - Stop by our booth at the Farmer’s Market on Oak Street.  Get free stuff, questions answered, & useful tips about living in Bear Country!
