Blues & Brews Festival attendees could land a Telluride ski trip through new digital photo scavenger hunt

Telluride, Colo., September 11, 2012 – The Telluride Tourism Board has announced yet another reason to get excited about the 19th annual Telluride Blues and Brews Festival taking place this weekend - the Tell-ur-story digital photo scavenger hunt.

Festival goers will have the opportunity to win a return trip to Telluride this ski season simply by sharing their best festival moments caught on smart phone. Contestants can enter the scavenger hunt by downloading the “Tell-ur-story” application for iPhone or Android and uploading photos of their Blues and Brews adventures. Participants must take and share a total of five photos, one for each of the five categories: Eating, Exploring, Scenery, Festival, and Wildcard. Photos will then appear on where the public can vote for their favorites. Entries and votes will be accepted through Monday, September 24.

Five finalists will be determined by public vote and a grand prize winner will be chosen by a panel of judges. The winner will receive a 4-night stay at the Ice House Lodge and a 3-day lift ticket to Telluride Ski Resort.

Telluride Blues & Brews is the signature festival of the destination’s “Gold Season” and takes place in Telluride Town Park surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. Festival goers will have the chance to sample more than 150 craft beers from more than 50 breweries throughout Colorado and the U.S. while enjoying music from headliners Phil Lesh & Friends, Gov’t Mule, the B-52s and more.

The complete lineup of all festival activities is also available via the free mobile app or at For more information on the Tell-ur-story contest and for complete official rules, visit No purchase necessary.
