What's Going On This Week?
In Telluride, Mountainfilm and Memorial Day weekend can only mean one thing – summer is right around the corner! The gondola has re-opened and off-season is officially coming to an end. This week’s featured events including Mountainfilm, AJ Fullerton Band Live, Telluride Bike to Work Week and The Downlow-Crossing Boarders, will keep you busy. We are glad to be back and hope everyone has a great summer!
Mountainfilm: Started in 1979, Mountainfilm in Telluride is one of America’s longest-running film festivals. Through the years, in and out of trends and fads, the Mountainfilm in Telluride Festival has always been best described by one unchanging word: inspiring. Far more than any other adjective, that’s how festival audiences describe their experience.
AJ Fullerton Band Live: AJ Fullerton is a 23 year old Blues/Roots artist raised in Western, CO. Winner of eight 2017 Colorado Blues Society “Member’s Choice Awards”, he has steadily built a reputation as one of the hottest rising talents on the Colorado music scene.
Telluride Bike to Work Week: Join the town in celebrating bikes in Telluride with a new take on Bike Week!
The Downlow-Crossing Borders : This is a one of a kind Telluride event, where non-performers and people you see each day get up to bare their souls, recounting true events and share some outrageous, funny, touching and incredible stories for the community. We guide the storytellers, helping them craft their story for an audience and getting them prepared for the show. Each night has a different theme and stories are chosen accordingly.
