What's Going On This Week?

It may be monsoon season in Telluride, but that doesn’t stop the fun. This week there are plenty of great events going on for the entire family to enjoy. On Friday, Music on the Green presents The Hermaleighs, a duo who sing poetic, powerful songs cut from indie, folk and pop. If you’re still in the mood to dance, make sure the entire family heads to Club Red Saturday night for MarchFourth live. This larger than life group brings a spirit of celebration wherever they go. On Thursday, as part of a Telluride classic, purchase a rubber duck that will compete in a river race with a chance to win big. If you’re looking for a way for the family to sit back and relax, head to Reflection Plaza on Thursday where Movies Under the Stars will be showing Despicable Me. Make sure to bring your blankets, lawn chairs and snacks! Check out more on each event below.

Music on the Green: A free concert series taking place Fridays through August 18 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Reflection Plaza, adjacent to the Madeline Hotel and Residence. The Harmaleighs honestly craft poetic, passionate, and powerful songs cut from a pastiche of indie, folk, pop and Americana. Featuring Haley Grant and Kaylee Jasperson, the duo is touring to support their latest EP, Hiraeth, sharing the inspiration received from being on the road and the trials and tribulations of longing for a home.

MarchFourth Live: MarchFourth is a joy-inducing force of entertainment. The colorful explosion of brassy funk, rock, and jazz is all about the groove. This larger-than-life group of musicians and acrobats tours the country year-round, bringing a spirit of celebration wherever they go. MarchFourth is, in a word, FUN! This is a family friendly all ages show!

KOTO Duck Race: As part of a Telluride classic, purchase a rubber duck that will participate in a river race, with the opportunity to win big. All proceeds go to Telluride's Community Radio, KOTO.

Movies Under the Stars: Enjoy an outdoor movie in the cool Rocky Mountain air, lit by stars and moonlight, surrounded by unmatched Telluride views. Free Admission. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and snacks! Full bar and menu service will be available.
