What's Going On This Week?


Town is buzzing with people prepping for the 44th Annual Telluride Bluegrass Festival. The Festival will begin tonight, Thursday June 15th with performances through Sunday. Festivarians and musicians from around the world will make their way to our historic town for this unforgettable 4 day festival.  There is also a lot of great music outside of the park, including The Watters Live on Friday night at the Liberty. On Monday, the Mountain Village Bike Park opens at 8AM so be sure to take the Gondola to San Sophia Station and enjoy some downhill biking. Closing out the week, Movies Under the Stars will be premiering their first screening of the summer. Enjoy an outdoor movie in Reflection Plaza and don’t forget to bring your blankets, lawn chairs and snacks! Movies will be shown every Thursday night. Check out more on each event below.

44th Annual Bluegrass Festival: Every June Festivarians and musicians from around the world make their annual pilgrimage to the historic mountain town of Telluride in the San Juan Mountains of southwestern Colorado. The Watters Live:  The Watters have garnered a devoted fan base through their high-energy performances, well-crafted songwriting, stirring vocals and road-weathered musicianship. Their songs are webbed in a world of truth and wonder, and embody a timeless spirit. Show starts at 11PM $10 at the door.

Mountain Village Bike Park Opening: The free Mountain Village downhill mountain bike park opens June 19th at 8AM.

Movies Under the Stars: Enjoy an outdoor movie in the cool Rocky Mountain air, lit by stars and moonlight, surrounded by unmatched Telluride views. Thursday nights this summer: June 22, 30, July 7, 14, 21, 28, August 4 and 11th. FREE ADMISSION. Starts around 8:30.
