Telluride is very picturesque. Many guests comment that Telluride is the most beautiful place they have ever seen.  Telluride’s beauty never gets old, and as a result, guests and locals alike constantly snap photos in and around our stunning box canyon. We thought it would be fun to share the most popular Telluride locations that appear on Instagram. It was tough to pick just 5, but here is a list of what we feel are the top contenders:

Main Street is lined with coffee shops, yoga studios, restaurants and independently-owned stores. With the backdrop of Ajax Peak  at the end of the box canyon, who wouldn’t want to photograph it?

One of the many advantages of the Telluride Ski Resort is that is has something to offer for skiers and riders of all abilities.  One trail that seems to be a favorite to stop and snap a quick photo is See Forever.  It is aptly named because you can see forever, all the way to Utah on a clear day.

Gorrono beckons guests to come relax on the expansive outdoor deck or beach (set up with colorful beach chairs on the snow) and enjoy a tasty meal, frosty brew or a variety of other libations. Whether you want to lounge in a deck chair while taking in the surrounding scenery or brush up on your cornhole skills, there is something for everyone and plenty of photo ops.

Telluride is surrounded by 13,000 and 14,000 foot peaks, but one of the most well-known, and probably most photographed is Wilson Peak. You might recognize this beautiful peak as it is featured in the Coors logo.

We all know that being out on the mountain works up an appetite, and lucky for us, at the top of Lift 9 is Giuseppe’s Restaurant. This local favorite offers New Orleans inspired comfort food, soup, snacks, beer and wine. What makes the food even better than it already is are the unbeatable views.
