Sunset Concert Series: Mountain Village's Best Idea

Summer means free, live music on Wednesdays in Sunset Plaza. Thanks to folks at the Telluride Mountain Village Owners Assocation (TMVOA), we have a reason to look forward to hump-day every week starting June 24th. Rain or shine, the Sunset Concerts are the perfect ending to a day at work (or play).

Grab your festival blanket and chairs, rain shell and dancing shoes and save yourself a spot on the grassy knoll in Sunset Plaza. Pack your picnic basket with goodies - or take advantage of great Sunset Concert specials at many of the restaurants in the plaza area. Music starts at 6 pm and typically runs two hours or so. Kids and dogs welcome, the latter will need to be on a leash.

Known for bringing in great talents and fresh sounds, the Sunset Concert Series hosted the Taj Mahal Trio and Junior Brown last summer. This summer's line-up features a collection of Grammy-nominated and award winning artists with an eclectic sound, from bluegrass to blues and everything in between.
