Spring Is Time for Apres Ski Outside

apres ski

Spring is in the air. The days are growing longer and there is nothing better than capping off a day on the slopes with a cold beverage at one of Telluride’s après ski outdoor locales.

  • Ski to town and you will run right into Oak at the bottom of Lift 8. Outdoor tables with umbrellas serve as a prime spot to sip a cold one and reminisce about the day on the slopes.
  • It is hard to miss the huge yellow and white umbrella at Tomboy Tavern, base of Lift 4. It covers an expansive outdoor bar that is the ideal place to rest weary legs and enjoy a cocktail.
  • Even if you have never been to Telluride, the stunningly beautiful Wilson Range probably looks familiar as the Wilsons are featured on the Coors Light label. The deck at Peaks Resort offers an unbeatable view of this stunning peak.  Crack a Coors while you toast a great day.
  • Skiers and riders can work up quite a thirst from a day of skiing. Fortunately, Tracks, at the base of lift 4, offers lots of rehydration options and plenty of outdoor tables.
