Snow Up High Means Fall is Here
Last week there was a crispness in the air. A subtle message from Mother Nature that fall was imminent. Now, it has officially arrived with the first snow of the season on the high peaks around Telluride.
This annual event is cause for celebration in some circles; in others creates a sense of longing to return to the long, warm days of summer. Regardless, seeing white on the mountains sets in motion the notion that winter is just around the corner. People will start counting down the days to the start of ski season (90 days in case you were wondering).
Before we break out the ski gear, let’s enjoy the magic of fall. Telluride fans captured some great photos this week of the snow up high.
