Dreams of A White Christmas Coming True

The holidays are always a magical time of year in Telluride but this year the magic is is even more heightened. Guests and locals alike are simply giddy from all the snow (22” in the past 3 days and its snowing again. This storm is supposed to last through Saturday.) Those dreaming of a white Christmas will get their wish.

Town looks like an image out of a fairytale, something you envision as you create the picture perfect holiday in your mind. It is a winter wonderland blanketed in glistening snow; storefronts and lampposts are wrapped in garland, live Spruce trees decorated with twinkle lights line the street and white lights strung above Main Street set the town aglow. The Ski Tree, made of recycled skis, is covered in fresh snow and bright lights. Holiday and powder cheer are in the air.  Here are some snowy scenes from this week:
