Bring the Powder Skis Back Out

After a string of warm weather that made us want to pull out our mountain bikes and hiking boots, winter is back in full force.  A storm that hit on Tuesday night dropped 22” in 36 hours.  The snow that fell all day  Wednesday brought big grins, hoots and hollers, and lots of turns through light blower powder. The storm broke on Thursday, delivering a spectacular blue bird day and an invitation to ski an untracked Revelation Bowl. The lucky skiers and riders to make the first tracks on this pristine canvas of white must have earned a lot of good karma points.

Here is a look back the past two days of very happy turns:

The weather forecast is calling for more snow this weekend. There is one more week of ski season so it is going to end on a very deep and high note!
