Michael D. Palm Theatre
Telluride’s premier performing arts venue, the Michael D. Palm Theatre is a 30,000 square foot, state of the art facility, including a full fly house with 38 line-sets, 288 lighting circuits, Meyer performance sound system, wide screen cinema with dual 35mm projectors, large format digital projector and surround sound.
The Palm is a not-for-profit arts, education, and community venue and presents a wide array of professional programs to a diverse community. Its programming includes performers representing many varieties of artistic expression.
Opened in 2004, the Palm is a state of the art facility built so people can experience live theatre in an intimate setting. Whether it’s a Broadway musical or an unforgettable evening of theater, there is never a dull moment at the Palm. All performances are top notch and ones you won’t want to miss!
Fantastic Facilities
The theater seats 667 comfortably with excellent sight lines to the stage. Additional equipment includes a Steinway Grand piano, full acoustic shell and Harlequin dance floor. Adjacent to the theater are music/rehearsal room, scene shop and makeup/dressing/green rooms.
The larger, main lobby area includes a concession booth and box office. The Palm is also available for rent.
