Starting at Station St. Sophia Gondola terminal, travel to the Sheridan Fork taking the left trail near the snowmaking storage ponds and gate for six miles on ski area service roads.
One of Telluride’s most popular trails, access the trail from the end of South Pine Street. Hike or bike the dirt road through the 325-acre Bear Creek Preserve.
Start at the west end of Telluride and follow the paved path that parallels Highway 145. This path connects to the Galloping Goose Trail in Lawson Hill.

Black Bear Road is a notorious jeep trail that starts from 11,018-foot (3,358 m) summit of Red Mountain Pass on U.S. Highway 550 (between Ouray and Silverton) to Telluride.
These stunning waterfalls, at 365 feet in length are the tallest free falling falls in Colorado, entice many people to hike, bike or four-wheel drive up the road.
A 1.3-mile loop starting from and returning to the Station St. Sophia Gondola trailhead with an elevation change of 170 feet. Crosses Telluride, Lookout and Milk Run ski trails.
