Snowshoeing
Snowshoes offer the freedom to explore many snow-covered places. Easy to learn and fun to master, snowshoeing is an activity for all ages. Choose between a leisurely sight-seeing outing or an uphill trek for the perfect cardio workout. Designated snowshoe trails start from both Telluride and Mountain Village.
TopATen (at the top of chair lift 10 on Telluride Ski Resort) offers guided nature snowshoe hikes for those interested in the flora and fauna of the area. Guided snowshoe adventures are also available with a number of local outfitters.
Snowshoeing Etiquette
When snowshoeing, please refrain from walking on groomed Nordic trails.
