Whisking Down the Slopes in Mountain Village

Sledding is available on Firecracker Hill, located on the southern side of Telluride Town Park. Please follow the orange cones that mark the walking path to the sledding hill. Bring your own sleds or rent one from the Nordic Center (970.728.1144). Sleds are also available for purchase at Ace Hardware.

I have never tried sledding...

I have never tried sledding in my entire life. I grew up in a country with tropical climate so we never ever had experienced any snow. I am currently visiting my aunt in Telluride and wanna try sledding. We don't have sleds here so I guess we need to rent one. I'm so excited!

Well you will have to wait a few more months to sled in Telluride but Town Park has some wonderful sledding terrain! We are sure you will have a blast!

Sledding is really such a fun activity especially with kids and like ice sculpture I find both very relaxing and stress buster.
