Telluride Regional Airport (TEX)

At 9,078 feet above sea level, Telluride Regional Airport (TEX) is the world’s second-highest commercial airport and offers 360-degree views of the San Juan Mountains. The runway was renovated during the summer of 2009 and has re-opened with many improvements. The drive from the airport to Telluride or Mountain Village takes approximately 15 minutes. Non-stop air service is provided daily by Great Lakes Airlines through Denver and US Airways through Phoenix.
Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ)

Montrose Regional Airport is a scenic 75 minutes away. With service by American, Continental, Delta and United, Montrose Airport is convenient and easy to navigate. The elevation at the airport is 5,759 feet.
