Telluride Welcomes Ski Season with a Variety of Non-stop Flight Options 

Telluride, Colo., October 29, 2013 – With recent early season storms dropping over a foot of snow, it is shaping up to be a great ski season in Telluride, Colorado. And this winter, it’s easier than ever to enjoy the magnificent mountain scenery and endless array of winter activities in Telluride, thanks to an expanded winter flight program that includes new Allegiant service from Los Angeles (LAX) and additional flights from Chicago, Dallas and Atlanta to Telluride/Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ).

Telluride, recently ranked the #1 Ski Resort in the U.S. by readers of Conde Nast Traveler, is accessible from eight U.S. destinations on five different carriers. 

United Airlines provides service to Montrose from the following cities: Los Angeles (LAX) on Saturday/Sunday; Chicago (ORD) daily; Newark (EWR) on Saturday; and Houston (IAH) daily. American flies daily into Montrose from Dallas (DFW) and Delta offers daily service into Montrose from Atlanta (ATL) over Christmas and New Years and on Saturdays through the rest of the season. Allegiant provides twice weekly service from LAX to MTJ and from Phoenix (IWA) to MTJ. United Express offers multi-daily service from Denver (DEN) into Montrose while Great Lakes flies into Telluride (TEX) from Denver multiple times a day with increased service on the weekends.  

Montrose Regional Airport is conveniently located 65 miles from Telluride, and offers access to a number of ground transportation options.

Telluride offers a wide variety of activities for those who are experts on the slopes to those more interested in après ski, and everything in between. 

Telluride Ski Resort offers 2,000+ acres of skiable terrain, with options for all levels of skiers and snowboarders, including well-manicured runs, challenging moguls and some of the best hike to terrain in all of ski country.
