Telluride, Colo., January 7, 2014 – Telluride is kicking off 2014 with a selection of January deals that make it easier than ever for winter enthusiasts to get a taste of Telluride, on the mountain and beyond. The limited time offers are rolling out in prime time for travelers to experience the renowned ski area, ranked #1 Ski Resort in the U.S. by readers of Conde Nast Traveler for the second year in a row, and to take advantage of easy access thanks to a robust air schedule.
America’s beloved ski town can be reached non-stop from eight major U.S. hubs on five different carriers. United Airlines provides service to the Telluride/Montrose (MTJ) airport from the following cities: Denver (DEN) multiple times daily, Chicago (ORD) daily; Houston (IAH) daily, Los Angeles (LAX) on Saturday/Sunday, and Newark (EWR) on Saturday. American flies daily into MTJ from Dallas (DFW) and Delta offers service into MTJ from Atlanta (ATL) on Saturday/Sunday through the rest of the season. Allegiant provides twice-weekly service from LAX to MTJ and from Phoenix (IWA) to MTJ. Great Lakes flies into Telluride (TEX) from Denver daily with increased service on the weekends, and can be booked through Frontier or United. Telluride/Montrose Regional Airport is conveniently located 65 miles from Telluride, and offers a number of easy ground transportation options.
