HAIR puts 60's rock music and the culture that went with it on stage. This show has a

vitality, a timelessness and a meaning that outlives the 60's - it has a strong effect on

everyone, and acts as a bridge between generations and viewpoints. Phenomenal

musical numbers include Aquarius, Good Morning Starshine, I Believe in Love, Hair, I

Got Life, What a Piece of Work Is Man.

With a cast of 30 locals, this show resonates with where the world is today and where

people see it going. Challenging society's norms and dreaming a new world, Hair's tribe

are people living outside of what the war-machine, environmental destructors and

society’s expectations dictate they do, be and become… creating their own reality and

utopia. “Hair revolves around a tribe of misfits who are thinking out side of societal

norms, much like our beloved town of Telluride,” states Sasha Sullivan, the director.

“This has been a truly grassroots local effort; to experience the wealth of talent, deep

dedication and unique ideals our tribe has to offer has been such a gift. It is what

makes our Hair phenomenal.”
