Roundabout, A Solo Exhibit by Flair Robinson
August 1st- August 31st , 2013

Telluride Arts Presents Flair Robinson’s “Roundabout”.
This is the summer of the roundabout. Flair Robinson’s new works are a convergence of thoughts and visions related to the idea of “roundabout”. The roundabout represents transition, a merging of who Robinson is right now with where she wants to be down the road and also, how she would like to see the world as she travel through it. The solo show is also a merging of her work and mediums. Robinson combines her love of traditional mosaic with mixed media, including paper and canvas mosaics.
Her work touches on the acceptance of the Latino people in our culture, the de-humanization of criminals, technology, and current political issues.
The opening will hold many surprises and colorful experiences for all.
The exhibit opens for art walk on Thursday, August 1st from 5-8pm, and will run through the end of the month.
