Telluride, Colo., Feb. 5, 2013 – It was announced today that Telluride and Crested Butte’s two-for-one sale on Allegiant Airlines has returned for a limited time due to popularity. With a recent storm dropping 34” of new snow and a total snowfall of more than 110 inches, February is the ideal time for skiers, snowboarders and winter enthusiasts to explore Telluride. Launched in December, the Allegiant Air partnership was created by the Telluride Montrose Regional Air Organization (TMRAO), Telluride Ski Resort (TSG) and Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR.)
“We’ve seen a huge amount of snowfall recently and this deal is an incredible way for people from the Phoenix and Bay Area to take advantage of all Telluride has to offer, including the powder,” said Michael Martelon, President and CEO of the Telluride Tourism Board. “The return of the booking window means that there’s still time for people to cash in on this extremely affordable fare.”
“This type of regional cooperation is the future for western Colorado, and we look forward to continuing to grow air service for both our guests and local community,” said Matt Skinner, chief operating officer of TMRAO.
This announcement comes on the heels of a new ski pass being offered by Telluride Ski Resort and Crested Butte Mountain Resort. The Ultimate 6 Pass is a six-day pass that is good for three days of skiing and riding at each resort.
Allegiant Air’s one-way fares from Phoenix start as low as $46.99 one-way ($93.98 round-trip)*. Flights from Oakland start at $49.99 one-way ($99.98 round-trip)*. This offer is based upon availability. For more information or to book, please call866-237-5341 or visit www.VisitTelluride.com/
