Telluride Tourism Board's Emily Picarazzi Wins Destination Colorado Peak Performer Member of the Year

Jan. 15, 2009, Telluride, Colo., … Emily Picarazzi, national sales manager at Telluride Tourism Board (TTB), was recently awarded the Destination Colorado Peak Performer Member of the Year Award for 2009.

The award was presented at the Destination Colorado Annual Meeting at Wings Over the Rockies in Denver on Dec. 2, 2009. Cindy Harder, director of sales and marketing at Beaver Village Condominiums in Winter Park, Colo. and Katri Laurimaa, regional sales manager at Meeting Planners International, presented Picarazzi with her award.

Destination Colorado is a statewide association of more than 120 companies targeting meeting planners and incentive buyers. Members include bureaus, lodging properties, resorts, conference centers, activity companies, etc. Picarazzi was nominated by Destination Colorado members for the Member of the Year Award for being an active Destination Colorado participant, partaking in various national shows and road shows on behalf of the organization.

Destination Colorado also recognized Picarazzi’s endless efforts in promoting Telluride as a first-class meetings destination and raising awareness of the region among meeting planners along the Front Range and on a national basis and representing both Telluride and Colorado professionally, while increasing meeting business to Colorado as a result of her dedication and enthusiasm.

On behalf of Destination Colorado’s membership, Picarazzi received a beautiful personalized plaque, recognition on the Destination Colorado website and in partner publications, and a two-night stay and dinner for two at one of Destination Colorado’s member properties.
