Norwood hosts a classic county fair with the judging of 4-H livestock and crafts, a dessert contest and more. The 2009 San Miguel Basin Fair and Rodeo takes place at the San Miguel Country Fairgrounds. Click here for more information and a schedule of the 4-H events.

The weekend kicks off with one of the best small town rodeos on the Western Slope. The junior rodeo begins in Norwood at 9 a.m. on Staurday. Professional rodeo follows with team ropin' on Sunday.
