Pinhead Institute: Punk Science/Permafrost and Climate Change

During these incredible events, children learn about atomic reactions, chemistry, physics, and more in hands-on, kid-friendly activities with leading Ph.D. scientists and other STEM experts. Tonight: Learn about the excitement and adventure of a scientific research expedition from Max Holmes, PhD, as he tells tales of his climate research in the Siberian, Canadian, and Alaskan Arctic. This senior scientist from the Woods Hole Research Institute and National Fellow of the Explorers Club will share both his findings about the impact of climate change on the Arctic and the world, as well as tools of the trade and examples of the unique discoveries that await in the Arctic.
