Learn the Ukelele with Jacqui Power

Tuesdays, November 1 – December 6 (no class Nov. 22) | 5:30-7:30pm | $200 tuition Introduction to Ukele Uke it up for five weeks with local Ukulady Jacqui Power. This beginning adult class will provide basic skills for getting started playing the ukulele. Students will learn how to tune their instruments, play basic chords, use a variety of basic strumming patterns, and play with other musicians. This is a great opportunity for anyone to try their hand (and fingers) at a new instrument! Jacqui teaches at the Mountain School as the 1st/2nd grade assistant teacher. She was born and raised in Upstate New York and grew up with a love and appreciation for nature and the outdoors. She enjoys biking, snowboarding, strumming the ukulele, learning, and anything involving soccer. Students should bring their own ukuleles, a very limited number are available to borrow. If you need to buy a ukulele, a highly recommended and inexpensive one is available online from Musician’s Friend.
