Getting Started with Adobe Photoshop Elements
Adobe’s Photoshop Elements is tailor-made for non-professional photographers who need a capable but affordable photo editing and management application. This introductory class will get you started using Elements to enhance your own photos and/or create great composite documents like flyers, cards, books, and posters. You’ll learn how and why to import your photos into Elements. You’ll get an overview of the various workspaces in Elements, then dive into Elements’ editing features, which range from automatic buttons to a full-featured editing workspace. You’ll discover what you can do in each editing workspace and pick up practical techniques for fixing common photo problems and making pro-level enhancements. Photoshop layers are introduced and explained. The full version of Photoshop has changed to a subscription model so Elements is now an even better choice for non-professionals. iPhoto, Picasa, and Lightroom all integrate with Elements.
