Clute Science Fiction Library

The Telluride Institute (tellurideinstitute.org) is extremely pleased to present legendary science fiction scholar and author, John Clute.  An interview with Mr. Clute will be conducted by art and science scholar, Ed Finn, at the Sheridan Opera House, 7 pm, on June 29, 2017.

The event marks the launch of The Clute Science Fiction Library at Telluride which will complement the Telluride Institute’sexisting programs in environmental  studies and sustainable futures. The library contains nearly 12,000 volumes comprising themost important books in the field, from the early nineteenth century until the present, almost all of them in first edition.

This library will act as a resource for writers, scholars, and students. It will also serve as the focus for an annual MountainColloquy among some of science fiction’s best minds.
