END OF SEASON PARTY: Mountain Town Get Down
Telluride Ski Resort will be celebrating the end of winter and heating things up for spring with the Mountain Town Get Down taking place March 28-30, 2014. Live performances from the national reggae acts of John Brown’s Body and See-I will be paired with music by local Telluride artists who will keep folks entertained while enjoying sun, goggle tans and good vibes.
“This event is a way for locals and destination guests alike to celebrate the end of an incredible season,” stated Brad Larsen, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “The Mountain Town Get Down will bring vibrancy to the Mountain Village core and it’s a great way to celebrate spring in American’s best ski town.”
The weekend will kick off on Friday, March 28 with happy hour at Tomboy Tavern featuring local act, Lily von Schtupp. The following day will feature free live music in the Mountain Village core from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Telluride local band, TriCo, will perform, followed by See-I at 2:30 p.m. and wrapping up with John Brown’s Body at 4:30 p.m. Sunday’s activities will once again resurrect the Bikini Slalom from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm with the Gorrono Ranch Luau from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. with local reggae band BREDREN.
