"Men in Black 3" Screening for the Neil Armstrong Scholarship Fund
The Telluride Foundation invites families, kids and regional communities to an evening of entertainment, to launch the “Race for our Kids.” The goal of the “race” is to kick off a fundraising campaign for the Neil Armstrong Fund and to get students excited about science. This inaugural event will be held Saturday, September 21 at 6:30pm at the Palm Theater in Telluride; the event will feature the film, Men in Black 3, followed by a discussion and question and answer forum with film Director, Barry Sonnenfeld and former NASA Astronaut Dave Scott. Preceding the event, Pinhead Institute, a local nonprofit that promotes science-education, will facilitate a rocket launch activity and program for kids and adults alike, from 5pm to 5:45pm.
