Hike into History, Marshall Basin

Join the Telluride Historical Museum and local mining experts on a hike to Marshall Basin, September 8, 2013. 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This is an easy-to-moderate hike starting 1/4 mile from the town of Tomboy. The hike proceeds to the Mendota mine at the top of Marshall Basin. There is some loose rock so please bring good hiking shoes, as well as rain gear, a sack lunch and water. 4x4 vehicles needed.
