Compassion Festival 2012
The Telluride Institute is proud to announce its collaboration with Stanford's Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education (CCARE) at this year's Compassion Festival. Together, we are bringing together scientists, spiritual leaders from Eastern and Native American wisdom traditions, and laypeople to share their work and wisdom and to present their insights on the importance of fostering a more compassionate world. This year's festival aims to explore both the spiritual significance of compassion and to assess the core concepts and measures that pertain to compassion, illustrate the body of work on compassion-focused interventions, ascertain the state of scientific investigation into compassion, and incite continued research on compassion which directly benefits public health and well-being. Please join us in exploring the science and spirit of compassion in action!
