"Pedal-Driven" presented by SMBA

“Pedal-Driven: a bike-umentary”

United by the mission to create a more enjoyable, more sustainable world, the Northwest Emmy-nominated documentary film making team at Howell at the Moon Productions has joined forces with IMBA to create “Pedal-Driven: a bike-umentary”. It has been quite a ride, and San Miguel Bike Alliance, in collaboration with ALL of Telluride’s bike shops, would like to invite you to join us for a screening of “Pedal-Driven: a bike-umentary”. PEDAL-DRIVEN will be playing at The Elks Lodge in Telluride on September 25 at 6 pm.

Tickets are $10 and are available at www.telluridesmba.org. SMBA members get into the screening for FREE! Individual membership is only $20. SMBA members get free admission to the film, PLUS a drink ticket, 2 door prize tickets, AND a T-Shirt.  Wow! What a deal!

PEDAL-DRIVEN is much more than a bike movie.  It is a film about every American’s right to the lands that belong to all of us. As Woody Guthrie famously sang 70 years ago, “This land is your land, this land is my land,” and in that spirit this film was created as a non-profit, from which all proceeds will benefit sustainable trail-building on public lands in the Pacific Northwest. The hope is to inspire and engage Americans in a dialogue about where mountain biking and other sports belong on the American landscape. (Read more about the film below…)

This screening will kick off SMBA’s fall membership drive and engage the Telluride community in promoting, volunteering for or participating in the upcoming Fall Tilt bike race.

In a trailblazing collaboration, ALL five of Telluride’s bike shops are joining forces with SMBA to promote this screening and help with the SMBA Membership drive. Sponsors include Bootdoctors, Gravity Works, Telluride Sports, Life Cycles and Paragon as well as Wells Fargo Bank.

FABULOUS DOOR PRIZES!

There will be TWO bikes given away as well as tons of door prizes. Gravity Works is donating a Bianchi Cruiser and a bunch of cool stuff. Bootdoctors is donating a Giant Cruiser and other items. Telluride Sports, Lifecycles and Paragon are all donating lots more great door prizes.
