Telluride Film Festival presents Films of the Great Depression

Telluride Film Festival Cinemateque at the Wilkinson Public Library presents FILMS OF THE GREAT DEPRESSION. Pre-SHOW reception starts at 5:30 and includes free food and beverages, hosted by Seth Berg. Free to all.

BONNIE AND CLYDE (1967, 112 min):  This two-time Oscar winning crime drama features Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway as the notoriously violent bank robbing couple, Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow. Directed by Arthur Penn, "Bonnie and Clyde is a milestone in the history of American movies, a work of truth and brilliance." - Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun Times

SCARFACE (1932, 93 min, Rated PG):  This Pre-Code crime film centers around gang warfare as rival gangs fight for control over a city - loosely based on the life of Al Capone. Produced by Howard Hughes, directed by Howard Hawks, features Paul Muni, Boris Karloff and George Raft.
