Horizon Program
The Horizon Program is a nonprofit organization committed to providing affordable after-school and weekend activities for K through 12 youth. The goal is to offer focused and enriching opportunities to local youth at a cost within reach of working families in Telluride. Programming is oriented toward outdoor recreation and youth rock climbing programs. Horizon seeks to help young people develop self-confidence, problem-solving skills and a healthy active lifestyle. Horizon also strives to develop stewardship and a respect for the natural world as they explore the environment. The program is open to all students in Telluride and the surrounding region.
The Horizon Program also facilitates an open indoor climbing gym for the public, adult indoor climbing clinics and birthday parties.
