Christ Presbyterian Church
Sundays 10:00 am-11:00 am
Wednesday 11:30 am-noon
Telluride’s Christ Church is a progressive, inclusive Christian community that values the unique quality of your spiritual journey toward a more authentic life.
Organized in 1889, Christ Church was the first church established in Telluride. It is now a member church of the Presbytery of Western Colorado, Presbyterian Church (USA). Located just one block off of Colorado Avenue, Christ Church is situated in one of Telluride’s historical neighborhoods and is surrounded by period homes and beautiful landscapes. The Church has developed extensive contemplative gardens on its grounds, including a labyrinth that is registered with the International Labyrinth Society http://labyrinthsociety.org/. The windows of our sanctuary look out on the beautiful surrounding mountains, and the sanctuary itself reflects the warmth and welcome of our congregation.
Our weekly worship is on Sundays, 10:00-11:00 AM. Sunday school is provided for children during the worship service. In the winter, we also conduct contemplative communion services on Wednesdays, 11:30-12:00 noon, and a variety of educational and inter-spiritual programs are available seasonally. Go to christchurchtelluride.com to learn more about Christ Church and all of our upcoming events.
The beauty and welcome of our facilities and grounds also make Christ Church a perfect venue to host a Telluride church wedding or other special events. For more information about a Telluride wedding at Christ Church go to http://www.christchurchtelluride.com/tcc/weddings_facility.
