What's Going On This Week?
We have recently had a string of beautiful, blue bird days ideal for some spring skiing! We love the sunshine, but the forecast looks promising for early next week, so think snow! As always, this week is filled with events you won’t want to miss. Check out more below.
The Blue Party: A "Blue-Tie" Event! Join Telluride Adaptive Sports Program in wearing your best blues for a night of eating, drinking, dancing, and bidding. The ticket price of $65 ($75 at the door) includes a selection of hearty hors d’oeuvres from The Village Table, Rustico, Wine Geek Food Freak, Siam and Siam’s Talay Grille, Bistro, Krasic’s Cuisine, The Butcher & The Baker, and more, along with music by the Anders Brothers, and a glass of award-winning Emeritus Pinot Noir. There will also be a silent auction featuring many one-of-a-kind items, fabulous get-away vacations and more. Doors open at 6pm and all proceeds benefit the Adaptive Program’s scholarship fund for low-income participants with disabilities.
Martin Sexton & Keller Williams: The Sheridan Arts Foundation welcomes acclaimed musicians Keller Williams and Martin Sexton to the historic Sheridan Opera House. Williams will bring his acoustic Shut the Fold Up and Listen experience ft. Martin Sexton to Telluride as part of a special 3-night run through Colorado.
Monophonics Live: San Francisco Bay Area based Monophonics play the Sheridan Opera House Saturday, March 10. Monophonics played to a sold-out Opera House crowd in 2016, and they return to Telluride with their rich blend of Northern soul, doo-wop, rock and roll, and psyche pop.
Turkuaz with Con Brio Live: They’ve become one of Brooklyn’s freshest exports - nine charismatic men and women brightly outfitted to have their colorful nature match their expressive voice. Turkuaz is a rock band at its core that blends soulful sounds with potent funk grooves.
