The time has come and it’s Christmas weekend! To bring in the holiday, head to The Sheridan Opera House on Friday to catch “Peter & the Starcatcher”, a prequel to Peter Pan. On Christmas Eve, join locals and visitors alike for a favorite holiday tradition, the Torchlight Parade in the Town of Telluride. Watch as ski school employees make their way down Coonskin and Telluride Trail with blazing red torchlights. After the Torchlight Parade, keep the magic going and check out Mind Blown at The Madeline where you’ll laugh, question reality, and be part of a creating an experience you will not soon forget. Spend Christmas day relaxing with family and friends in preparation for Shawn Colvin live in concert at the Sheridan Opera House on Sunday. Check out more on each event below.

Peter & The Starcatcher: The Sheridan Arts Foundation & Telluride Theatre are teaming together to present "Peter & the Starcatcher," a prequel to Peter Pan. A Tony-winning play by Rick Elice with music by Wayne Barker, this play upends the century-old story of how a miserable orphan comes to be the legendary Peter Pan.

Christmas Eve Torchlight Parade: Take your photo with Santa, enjoy some holiday crafts and watch holiday movies while enjoying hot cocoa and popcorn. This year's holiday films include Mickey's Magical Christmas, Polar Express and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The Parents' Lounge and cash bar will be available for parents who want to put their feet up.

Mind Blown at The Madeline: Mind Blown is a brand new, truly memorable show available only at the Madeline Hotel. With very limited tickets available to the show, everyone will experience the astonishing magic of Ty Gallenbeck up close. You will laugh, question reality, and be part of creating an experience you will not soon forget. We encourage our guests to dress to impress as it helps create a magical evening. This show is recommended for ages 12 and up.

Shawn Colvin Live in Concert: Multi-Grammy award winning singer songwriter Shawn Colvin returns to the historic Sheridan Opera House as part of the 2016 Holiday Concert Series. Winning her first Grammy for Best Contemporary Folk Album with her debut "Steady On," in 1989, Colvin has been a mainstay of contemporary folk music ever since, releasing 11 superlative albums and establishing herself as one of America's greatest live performers.
