This weekend, Mountain Village spreads some holiday cheer with the Holiday Prelude. Along with this festive celebration, there are many events to get you into the spirit. Here is a look at what is happening:

Holiday Prelude: The Holiday Prelude, Dec. 16-17, is a great way to get into the holiday spirit. It features a line-up of festive events for the whole family. The weekend includes a variety of events sure to spread some holiday cheer including sitting with Santa, train rides for kids and a Ride to the North Pole on the Gondola Express.

Santa Fly-In Brunch: Santa will fly in from the North Pole and land at the Telluride Airport around 11:30AM weather permitting. A visit with Santa is free and no reservations are necessary. There will also be brunch provided by Zest Catering. Reservations are requested at www.opentable.com “The Tunnel”- Zest Catering, 970-708-3663.

Telluride Holiday Pop-Up Market: Help celebrate the holiday season with the 4th annual Holiday Pop-Up Market. It's a small town, last minute shopping experience with local artisans and other small businesses in our regional area. In kind donations will be collected at the door benefitting local artist, Hilary Douglas Medical Expenses as well as a gift wrapping station.

Bootdoctors presents Matchstick Productions “Drop Everything”:  Matchstick Productions- the powerhouse that brought you award-winning classics like "Claim," "The Way I See It," and "Days of our Youth"- is proud to introduce the funniest, most action-packed ski movie of 2017: DROP EVERYTHING, presented by Under Armour. The team at the Matchstick took a decidedly more lighthearted approach this year, featuring quick-hitting comedy along with the world's preeminent freeskiers, stunning locations, a potent soundtrack, and stellar cinematography.

For all events from 12/15-12/21, check out this week’s Peak Sheet.
