Telluride's Second Snowiest Winter on Record

Sunrise Ryan

Although the Telluride Ski Resort closes for the season on Sunday, many of us are not ready to switch out the skis for mountain bikes and hiking boots. The past couple of weeks have been off the charts with back to back storms. With over 2 feet of snow in the last 7 days and a total of 310” this season, this is the second snowiest ski season on record (2007/2008 was the snowiest on record with 341”). In honor of this exceptional winter, we put together our favorite powder pictures from the talented Ryan Bonneau as well as our loyal fans.

After the snow melts, summer magic begins.  All that snow is going to make for a beautiful summer landscape with lush green meadows and fields of wildflowers!
