Telluride Heats Up with Fire Festival

Telluride Fire

Telluride ignites this weekend during the 3rd Annual Telluride Fire Festival.

Multi-storied, fire emitting “art cars”, burn barrels, fire dancers, and larger-than-life, animated, fiery art installations all make up this unique festival which takes place on the pedestrian plazas of Mountain Village January 20-22.

Burning Man, the annual celebration of community and art in the Nevada desert inspired the event.  Burning Man offers up so much fire art that it is impossible to see it all in one week…and much of it burns—never to be seen again! The goals of the festival is to spread the Burning Man ethos to Telluride and enable more people to see the larger-than-life fire art and enjoy its visual magic. Daytime and early evening events in the Mountain Village Plaza and Oak Street Gondola are completely free. All access tickets are available for the festivals nighttime art and entertainment.

The Fire Ball, at North America’s highest night club, caps off an amazing weekend of visual magic. Be entranced by aerial silk performers, fire spinners, and live entertainment featuring LoveTribe. Purchase tickets to the Fireball here
