GO BRONCOS! Celebrate the 2014 Super Bowl in Telluride
We're going to start this post out with a little Telluride/Broncos inspiration (seriously, you have to watch this video the Telluride Ski Resort released Monday. It will make you want to move to Colorado if you don't already live here).
For the first time in 12 years, the Denver Broncos will be competing against the Seatle Seahawks this Sunday in New Jersey. If you find yourself spending game day in Telluride, here are a few ideas of things to do!
Go Skiing...in orange and blue!
The games doesn't start until 4:30pm (MST), so jump out on the mountain on Sunday morning adorned in as much orange and blue as you can! Need spirited attire? Head over to one of the two consignment stores in downtown Telluride. Pip's and Telluride Thrift Store both offer a variety of interesting second-hand clothing, wigs and more!
Celebrate at The Peaks Resort & Spa!
The Peaks will be throwing a Super Bowl Party from 3 pm to close. HDTVs will show the game throughout the resort with restaurant specials including a $10 burger and draft beer from 4-6pm and $4 Stella drafts!
Sports bars, beer and pizza (and a packed room full of orange and blue)!
Telluride might be a small town but there are no lack of sports-viewing establishments! Here are a few that serve-up top-notch food and keep the beer flowing!
