Blind Adventurer Erik Weihenmayer hosts 'Dinner in the Dark' in Telluride

On May 25, 2011 Erik Weihenmayer became the only blind man in history to reach the summit of the world's highest peak, Mount Everest. In 2008 he completed his quest to climb the Seven Summits. Erik ventures to Telluride to host the first ever 'Dinner in the Dark' on January 19th  at 5:30 pm at Hotel Madeline.

'Dinner in the Dark,' is a sensory culinary experience featuring cocktails and a three course gourmet dinner in the dark. A live auction and presentation by Mr. Weihenmayer will also be a part of the evening's activities. Funds raised will support the No Barriers Summit, a four-day event for individuals with disabilities schedule for August 2013 in Telluride and supported by Telluride Adaptive Sports Program.
