The battle begins August 12th for 'Telluride Top Chef'

Top Chef

What better way to spend a Friday night than eating good food, drinking good wine and listening to good music?

Where can I partake in such a wonderfully magical combination of goodness, you might ask? At the 2nd Annual "Telluride Top Chef" competition on August 12th from 5-9 pm at the Peaks Resort & Spa, of course!

For the second year in a row Telluride's best culinary geniuses will complete to benefit One to One San Miguel Mentoring Program. This year's chefs include Chef Peter Cumplido of Hotel Madeline, Chef Johnny Gerona of Bread and Roses Catering, Chef Stephen Roth of Telluride Ski Resort and Allred's and reining 2010 champion Chef Eliza Gavin or 221 South Oak.

New to the event this year will be a "People's Choice Awards" (this means you, ticket holders) where each chef will have a table witha  sample of somthing that they make from their restaurant or business. Guests will recieve 4 tickets as they arrive and will present a ticket in exchange for one of the samples and then will vote for the best tasting!

While you (because, who would want to miss this!) have your fill of food and drink you can enjoy the music stylings of Rob Drabkin and Kyle James Hauser and bid on live and silent auction items such as food and wine experience, custom jewelry, original art, ski passes and festival passes!

Buy your tickets today at here for $65 a pop which include samples from each chef, original appetizers from Chef Lynn Tilyou, all the wine you can taste, live music, and a showdown between local celebrity chefs.
